The Family Connections Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Colleen Steinbruecker has accepted the position of Executive Director at Family Connections. In this role, Colleen will provide the overall direction and leadership in managing the affairs of our three-county agency.
Steinbruecker earned her, Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Elementary education with a minor in Early Childhood from Lakeland College, as well as, an Associates degree in Child Development. Along with her education, she brings over 20 years of experience in early childhood. For the past 2 years, she served as the CPC Coordinator through the United Way of Sheboygan County, an adjunct instructor in the Early Childhood program at Moraine Park Technical College, and most recently as the Child Care Director for the Sheboygan Falls YMCA. Steinbruecker worked for 7 years serving as an early childhood consultant and trainer for Family Connections. Additionally, she spent 8 years at Head Start as a Preschool teacher.
She is a master trainer in topics such as The Pyramid Model for Social Emotional Competence, Wisconsin Model learning Standards, ASQ, ASQ-SE, and many other content areas related to the Early Childhood field.
